A little bit more about my academic career…

As an undergraduate, I served as an active member of the Morrison-Novakovic Center for Faith and Public Policy. As a member, I actively participated and engaged in many conversations regarding the current political and religious climate of our world, and discuss how these two things are intertwined. I also did outreach for the center, inviting guests outside our community to come and speak.

In addition to other experience, during my undergrad I worked with the Monongohalia Forest Service to recover, scan, and georeference historical maps from the area. I also helped in the Theater Department at school, I wrote press releases for the shows and served as House Manager . I am also a recipient of the Highlands Leader Scholarship, the Emerging Leaders Scholarship, and the West Virginia Promise Scholarship. I am also a 2025 Ledford Scholar.

Currently, I serve as a Community Fellow at Small Cities Labs at Lehigh University. Here, I am working on a variety of sustainability based pilot projects as I complete my masters in Environmental Policy.
